Unexpected Turn in Sidhu Moosewala’s Mom’s IVF: Center Raises Age Limit Despite Allegations of “Help Taken Abroad”

Following the 56-year-old son’s birth, Sidhu Moosewala’s mother, Charan Kaur, received a notification from the Center for Punjab. The state government has been requested to submit a report on the laws pertaining to IVF infants by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The government said that although Moose Wala’s mother, Charan Kaur, is purportedly 56 years old, the age range for a woman to undergo IVF is 21 to 50. The Center requested the report after seeing the age.

“Under Section 21(g) of the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021, the age limit prescribed for a woman going under ART services is between 21 and 50 years old,” the health ministry letter said. As a result, you are asked to investigate the situation and report to this department on the steps taken in this instance in accordance with the ART (Regulation) Act, 2021.

Additionally, there are rumors that she received assistance from overseas. ART clinics in India require women to be between the ages of 21 and 50, therefore, Charan Kaur and her husband Balkar Singh “used the IVF facility abroad,” according to government officials who spoke with The Tribune. The baby was delivered on March 18.

Balkaur Singh, the father of Sidhu Moosewala, made charges against the Punjabi government in the meantime. He said that after the birth of his second child, they had been tormenting the family. Balkaur Singh wrote on Tuesday on Instagram, “We got our Shubhdeep back because of Waheguru’s blessings.” However, the government has been bugging me since this morning, demanding that I provide the baby’s documentation. They are interviewing me to establish the legality of this kid.
